i made a promise to myself to tell the truth, to be open with myself and others. hence the title confessions. i don't know how long this will last, but i hope it lasts longer than the semi-break that occurred. being in a relationships was a whirl wind of an experience, a ride that i wasn't prepared for. then again, when does love wait for anyone right? i feel that i made the right decision even if i may sound obstinate. i know myself, i know what i can handle and what i am willing to take on. as of now, i'm not ready for a relationship of this magnitude. i am still trying to establish myself, making a place for me to belong to. my priorities never consisted of love/relationships, and it still isn't, at least now it isn't. it was easier before the new responsibilities occured, but now i have a road. i have a place to go, a life to live accordingly to my own being. alex, you set me on a pedestal and shun light on my path. you are apart of that. and i thank you for that. now it's time to let me go with what i have learned so that i may apply it to the rest of the world. i know he's not happy with my decision. i know you feel like i've given up, but how? how is leaving to make things better giving up? if you love something, let it go. let go, let god. if it comes back to you then it was meant to be. it upset me to know that your sister and your dad are mad at me. i've never experienced that before. it just reiterated what i already knew, this relationship was one sided.
