today seems like a rather hectic day. i woke up at 5 a.m. to go to freshmen orientation on campus. it was actually fun, met a lot of new faces, reminisced about my early college days. advised them to live it up. i just finished typing up an agenda for today's officer meeting. i need to do laundry, clean my car, sell my books, cash my check, drive up to LA.

yesterday:

Balboa. fun. Coronado Community Band. memories. i want a bass clarinet. i am going to join a concert band. Flamenco. free movie. David the Filipino juggler. entertaining. very exciting day yesterday.

There's always something going on at Balboa park.

Ugh, i'm going back to my old eating habits. shame.

Things i hate about living at home:

1) parents attempting to clean my room
2) parents putting personal items away in foreign places
3) when you have laundry separated and parents walk in and clump it all together
4) no privacy
5) 30 min. drive to school
6) dependency on parents

Things i like about living at home:

1) free board, free meals, free utilities, free car
2) no bills to pay
3) income from mom
4) dependency on parents
5) sister lives here too


i'm sure there are a lot of advantages to living at home, but when you want to break free; it seems like it's impossible to find any.

time to get on with the rest of my day.
