confessions: i'm going to vent, so be prepared.

i just finished tutoring jenny. she has a test tomorrow. by the way jenny is my neighbor's daughter. i have been babysitting/tutoring her for 4 years now, i believe. i used to get paid $20 for doing nothing. she would come over at 5 and sleep at 9 until 7a.m. which is when she went home. so dude. . four hours of sitting in front of the tv set and the rest takes care of itself. so anyways, she and i were reviewing for her test tomorrow. i'm not quite sure but i think she has a learning disability. she kept complaining about a headache she had every time it got hard. we had to review things time and time again after she said she understood them. argh, i admit i got frustrated because we had to keep going over concepts we reviewed 5 minutes before. i'm going to need as much patience as possible to become a teacher. don't get me wrong, she's a good kid but sometimes i think her mind is elsewhere. a constant excuse of hers is that her teacher didn't teach her that. i'm pretty sure her teacher did teach her some concepts, but jenny didn't comprehend them.

before the tutor session, i slaved myself to a sink full of dishes and talked to lex for most of the day. he has work today, yay planet x, ha.

last night i dreamt that i had walked into a department store where my friend elaine was working. she had a long line at her register that stretched to the other end of the store. i was looking for an anniversary gift for lex. i saw this cool dolphin figurine, but i was still looking. tara was at another end of the store. i saw her when i was walking out. it seemed as if she was waving to me, but it ended up being branigan. he was sitting on the bench with a shaved head waiting for her. the two of them left behind me. i was afraid that they would start trouble so i walked the other way towards the gardening section. there were dogs and tiger/dogs in the section. i was trapped for in the cage since there was a vicious tiger outside. the gardener told me it was safe to leave. so when she opened the door i saw a tiger, i stepped out believing it was a nice one. suddenly, the vicious one creeped up behind it and almost swallowed me whole. ya. strange.

yesterday, lex and i went to san marcos to buy my books, i spent 207 on 6 books, not bad i guess. we then went to balboa hospital so i take a blood test. the first thing that i did was pee into a cup and pour it into a test tube. man, that's fun. you should really try it. pee into a dixie cup and pour it into a tiny test tube in a compact bathroom stall without a place the cup and tube while you pull your pants up. i didn't really want to put it on the ground and expose my urine to the other women in the bathroom. yes, it's easier for guys. . so bleh. when i went to return my urine sample to the lab technician, he was gone. i wasn't about to hold my pee in my hand for more than a minute, so i left it with some nice ladies in a test tube holder. ha, i could see my pee from a distance, it was a nice yellowy color. the guy finally came back, he talks like brad pitt in snatch. i had no clue what he was saying. he motioned that i sit in a chair, so i did. he alcoholed my arm and stuck me, filling three tubes and pulled out. man, that's the most painful encounter i've had with a guy. he wrapped my arm too tight and now i have a bruise. i look like the guy from requiem for a dream.

lex and i got hungry and decided to eat at mcdonald's at the hospital. man, it's quite depressing in there. dim lighting, slow atmosphere. old people, filipinos, slaving themselves away at a fastfood joint feeding their bata. i looked at them and well, it's just sad knowing that some of them might have come from the philippines leaving behind a profession to work at a fast food joint that doesn't even serve good food. the workers there are old, they should be at home resting instead of working until they die. i was at a mcdonald's being served by lolos and lolas. = T not a good thing at all.

we then headed downtown to IRS, yet another depressing place. we didn't get what we came for, but lex had a nice dance at the gate. *remember to take off your watch when you walk through the metal detector* home we go, and home we went to watch blue crush. yes. i like the waves, the story, eh. the acting wasn't that hot, but the ocean. yes the ocean. my mom was preparing for a sto. nino prayer at the house. we did that. lex was supposed to pray the 5th rosary, but my auntie took over w/o hesitation. it's kind of strange how filipinos underestimate other children when they brag about their own. bah. so yes, we left and got some coffee and i came home.

topics we discussed:

music-what will it be like in the future? will our goodies become oldies?
government-they are obviously spending too much on stupid items. controlled spending? something to brush off? i think not.
filipinos-sad. it goes for all immigrants.

off topic. this is going to be my new hairstyle. perhaps, not sure yet, i'm waiting for these cursed curls to go away. hair.by the way i found it at an "asian hairstyle site" ha. my hair and i have plans. that we do.i might even go the extra mile and let my sister cut it. it's cheaper. hahahah.

new topic: i was surfing the web for a while, obviously i was bored. i was looking people's names up. this is kind of sad, but this is what popped up for my sister's name. she's the victim. i listened to ruben's band. i must agree his songs are long. i also found someone that went to my elementary school, i think. i emailed her, but it was an unknown address. ya. ok. bye.
