day 5. i've been working on my tagalog project, it's another art display. i had the chance to talk to genie yesterday. it was refreshing just to catch up with her. she's actually happy about the decision that i made. (i need a cd player or mp3 player) it's hard not being able to listen to music when i want to. that'll be my next present.

so i managed to pull a 3.0 this semester. = ) pretty damn good start to my final two years. hopefully i'll manage to get on the dean's list next semester or something.

i watched troy last night. it was okay. i know many people have been ranting and raving about it, but it was mediocre to me. i would have to say that the highlight was the battle between achilles and hector. i was disappointed when persayus gave herself to achilles though. geez woman, don't you have any will power. many of the scenes reminded me of lex. that was the toughest part of the movie. ya.

speaking of lex, he just called me. it's been tough trying to rationalize my decision. sometimes i just don't imagine myself without him at the end of this pursuit of a career. i feel like rachel, and somehow things will work out at the airport. you know i remember when i last went on a trip, lex tried to meet me at the gate. he didn't buy a ticket to enter the gates. he tried and he was there. i just didn't get to say good bye.
