i want to take the time out to thank you for being the greatest inspiration. you have given me the drive to pursue my dreams and happiness. i am only sorry that all this joy was at the cost of our romantic relationship. i want you to know that you gave me the one thing that no one has given me, not even my family. you gave me a path to walk on. you allowed me to take my first step in the right direction. thank you. now, i suppose my last step is to fly. spread the wings that i have yet to grow. i know this reality is not grand. i know you feel as if you failed, but please don't. you were my inspiration. you showed me my path in life. i can never thank you enough for that. at the same time, i am sorry.
