lesson: friends don't let friends become hypocrites.

i should be studying right now, but i just don't wanna. i woke up at 6:50 a.m. to finish up some homework i fell asleep doing the night before. i died at 9 something, that's when you know i'm tired. i don't usually sleep before 11. ya dig? dope. so i'm back to my old style with "caps" and stuff even though i'm a few pounds prettier, nothing a minor adjustments won't take care of. as my sister says, "you only join them if you feel that way." so why not? be me, be free, just pee. i'm pissing out my style again, even though i risk the chance of blending in with society. then again, you think about it being non-typical is typical.

speaking of which, i was advertising APSS yesterday and i saw two high school acquaintances. i advised them to join and one replied, "i'm not into that asian stuff." that's pretty stoo, i might say. "if you're not into that asian stuff, then you're denying yourself because you are asian." uh DUH! i think it's just sad when people deny themselves. . i'm not into that asian stuff. i admit i was like that, and there are parts of the "asian culture" that i'm not submerged into, but i won't deny it. i figure there are two types of asians, traditional and semi. semi meaning that an asian has already assimilated into american culture. traditional being that they reject other influences. i admit that i myself won't do things because it's too "asian", for example clubbing, i'm not into that. i think that's a different social department. besides clubbing, i'd dive right into a cultural fest. so the moral of the story is: "don't deny yourself." i guess? you are who you are and plastic surgery doesn't change it (e.g. MICHAEL JACKSON is still black).

now let's go onto plastic surgery, i didn't mention this but during my stay in oxnard, my auntie so willingly informed my sister and me about lasik surgery. oh yes, she got it done. she kept referring to her bikini line, drawing it out for us. i'm going to remember that for the rest of my life. my auntie is probably in her early 40's? or late 30's. i'm not sure, i forget. but yes, she babbled about the world of being hairless and having a nicely lasered tuft of pubic hair. STRANGE! something i really didn't need to hear from my auntie. well, i mention this because i had a conversation with an APSS member about "whiteness". these are just questions, they do not in any way suggest my beliefs. would asians normally bleach their hair? would they even consider teeth whitening? do they go to the tanning salon every other week? would they consider surgery? just think about it and compare traditional and semi. how much american culture has been soaked up the asian culture?

i wasn't aware of this but i have groupies. gerald volunteered to be my groupie. i felt kind of strange so i suggested that we be each other's groupies. i didn't know that lex had already filled in the spot, but it's cool. i have two groupies now. they're my bitches cuz they "love" my work. eh it's mediocre. i haven't really written anything lately, just snippets of future pieces.
